There is a Tide, 1964
Elspeth Bragdon was born in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1897. She
received her BA at Smith College in 1920. She taught briefly in the public
schools and then held positions in advertising in Boston department stores. She
taught poetry and writing courses with the University of Massachusetts
Extension 1935-1939. She also was the author of several children's books.
