Biographical Sketch

Dorothy Heiderstadt was born in 1907 in Geneva Nebraska. She was a children's librarian from 1930 to 1970 and also wrote over a dozen children's books, including many stories about American Indians. Dorothy died in 2001 in Easton, Kansas.
