Biographical Sketch

LeGrand Henderson was born in 1901 in Torrington, CT and died in 1965. He was a free-lance writer and illustrator and wrote over 30 children's books published between 1937 and 1964. Books in the "Augustus" Series were written under the pseudonym LeGrand.
