Biographical Sketch

Marjorie Braymer was born in 1911 in Chicago, Illinois. She did editorial work in various film companies and magazines 1930-1940. She received her BS in education from Ohio State University in 1943. She received her MA from Columbia University Teachers College in 1944. She did post-graduate work at Stanford University 1960-1961. She was a teacher in Redwood, California 1945-1966. She was an editor 1965-1967. In the 1950s she began to write children's books. She died in 1988. Biographical Source: Something About the Author, v. 7, pp. 31-33.
