Biographical Sketch

Louise Stickney Tanner was born in New York City in 1922. She was educated at Vassar College and worked as a copyrighter and author. Her book Reggie and Nilma received first prize for juvenile books in the Chicago Tribune Children's Spring Book Festival in 1972. She died in 2000.
