Abstract:
The collection contains written and illustrative materials for 13 titles. Written material includes typescripts, some corrected, carbon, or photocopied, galley proofs, some corrected, a field note book, correspondence, some in Spanish, dummies, proof sheet pieces, and a marked setting copy. Biographical Sketch

G.Warren Schloat, Jr., was born July 15, 1914 in Mexico, MO. In the early 1940s he became an animator and story director for Walt Disney, but later opend his own production company, specialing in producing audio-visual materials for schools. He also wrote a number of books, all photographic picture books, for children. Schloat's particular interest is in fighting prejudice, and his production won several awards for their efforts in that direction. Biographical Source: Something About the Author, vol. 4
