Biographical Sketch

Mark Taylor was born in Linden, Michigan in 1927. He received his undergraduate degree and library degree from the University of Michigan and a M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Southern California. He has had an extensive career as librarian, professor, producer and performer, writer, lecturer, storyteller and balladeer and has received numerous awards for his work.
