Biographical Sketch

Judith Gywn Brown was born in New York City in 1933. She attended Cooper Union and Parson's School of Design. She received her BA in Fine Arts History from New York University in 1956. From 1958 to 1960 she worked for a printed doing book jackets and pasteups and learning the business. From 1960 to the present she has illustrated children's books. She has also written and illustrated several of her own books. She lives in New York City. Biographical Source: Something About the Author, v. 20, pp. 15-18.
