Biographical Sketch

Pamela Beatrice Brown was born in 1924 in Colchester, Essex, England. She wrote a book for children while still in her teens which enabled her to attend The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and become an actress in the 1940s. From 1950- 1963 she was a producer in British television. She was a children's book author from 1941 to her death in 1989.
