Anna Gertrude Hall was born February 9, 1882, in West Bloomfield, NY
and died February 8, 1967. She was the daughter of Myron Edwin and Anna
(Sterling) Hall. She attended Leland Stanford Junior University, where she
received an A.B. in 1906, and New York State Library School, where she earned a
B.L.S. in 1916. Hall's career was mainly as a librarian and cataloger. She
worked at Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA, as a librarian and cataloger
