Biographical Sketch

Reginald Birch was born in London, England in 1856. He emigrated to the United States in his teens. He studied art in Paris, Antwerp, Rome and Munich. He was an artist and a prolific illustrator for books, magazines and newpapers. He is best known for his illustrations of Little Lord Fauntelroy by Frances Hodgeson Burnett. He died in 1943.
