Biographical Sketch

Ingrid Fetz was born March 8, 1915, in New York City. As a child, Fetz was already interested in drawing. She attended the School of Special Studies at Columbia University and the Workshop School of Advertising and Editorial Art in New York City. Fetz has illustrated more than 25 books for children, including books by Maud Hart Lovelace, Carol Ryrie Brink, Johanna Hurwitz, and several collaborations with Eleanor Lowenton (E.L.) Clymer.
