Somebody, Somewhere, 1962
Robert Frankenberg was born March 19, 1911, in Mt. Vernon, NY. He studied at the Art Students League in New York City and became an instructor at New York's School of Visual Art in 1947. From 1958 to 1967 he was head of the drawing department there. He illustrated numerous books for children plus several textbooks. His work also appeared in many popular magazines.
