The records were given to the Charles Babbage Institute by Joan S. Wessel in 1995 and 2003.

Biographical Note

Milton Wessel served ADAPSO as General Counsel from 1966-1986 and as a Special Assistant from 1986 until his death in 1991. He was General Counsel to the American Federation of Information Processing Societies (AFIPS) from 1968-1975.

The collection consists of documentation, collected and later bound, of Wessel's work as General Counsel for ADAPSO and AFIPS.
