Collection Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of a compilation created by the Federal Systems Division to document their products from 1954-1968. The compilation, titled Univac Computers , contains computer characteristics descriptions and photographs of computers as well as charts showing the Federal Systems aerospace and military computer genealogies.

The compilation was originally contained in a binder with the characteristics description facing the photograph of the computer described. After processing, the characteristics description precedes the photograph of the computer described. An identical number has been added in pencil and circled to each characteristics description and the corresponding photograph in the upper right corner on the reverse side to assure the correct descriptions and photographs remain correlated.
