Biographical Sketch

Carol Carrick has written almost fifty books for children, many of which were illustrated by her husband Donald. She was born in Queens, New York in 1935, received a bachelor's degree from Hofstra University in 1957, and married Donald in 1965. She has been an artist and author of children's books during her entire career and has received numerous awards for her work.
