Arrangement

When the records were received, they were organized roughly as an immense subject file. In large part, this organization has been retained, although some segmentation into the following groups has been done to provide greater access or for preservation purposes:

• Boards, Committees, Councils and Forums, 1952-1993
• Subject Files, 1950-1992
• Publications and Near-Prints, 1952-1991
• Artifacts and Audiovisual Materials, 1951-1985
